Shanti Priya is a former Indian actress who made a significant mark in the film industry during the 1990s. Born on September 22, 1969, in Andhra Pradesh, Shanti Priya began her acting career with the Telugu film Kaboye Alludu in 1987. Her Tamil debut movie Enga Ooru Pattukaran opposite Ramarajan is a silver jubilee hit film. She quickly gained recognition for her beauty and talent, eventually making her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in the 1991 film Saugandh.
