Shelly Kishore Biography

Shelly Kishore is a popular actress who mainly works in the Malayalam Film and Television industry. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam Television serial 'Koottu Kudumbam'and become part of popular Tv serials including Parasparam, Sthreepadham, and Ente Maathavu. Apart from acting on the mini-screen, Shalini also acted in the Malayalam movies like Kerala Cafe,Chattakkari, Akam, Eeda and many others.

Personal Life

Shelly was born to J. Nabu Kumar and Sheela in Dubai. She completed her schooling from New Indian Model School, in Dubai. After then, she earns a bachelor's degree in Mass Media Media and Communication and a diploma in Sociology from Singapore University.She also holds a Master's Degree in in E-Governance.

Career Life

She stepped into the film industry as a supporting artist in the 2006 Malayalam Tv serial 'Koottu Kudumbam'. After then,Shelley appeared in a lead role in the Tv serial 'Kumkumapoovu' in 2011.She essayed the role 'Shalini'in the serial, grabbed the attention of many audience in the industry. It is also considered one of the finest performance of the actress. For her stupendous performances in the Tv serial 'Thaniye', she won Kerala State Television Awards in 2006.

After winning State award, Shelly made her on-screen debut in 2009 Malayalam Anthropology Movie 'Kerala Cafe'. Apart from this, she also become poart of many movies in Malayalam like Chattakkari, Akam, Eeda, Sakhavu and Minnal Murali.The 2013 release 'Thanga Meenkal' marks her debut movie in Tamil Cinema. The actress has nominated for her performance in the movie for SIIMA Awards on the same year. After being a successful actress in South Indian film industry, she made her debut in Bollywood in 2010 film 'The Waiting Room'.
