Susi Ganesan (Tamil:சுசி கணேசன்) is a Kollywood movie director. He has so far directed four films, with the latest being released in early 2007. He has also acted in a film. While he was doing his graduation in Physics in Madurai, S Ganesan became Susi Ganesan; 'Su' for Subbayyah (his father’s name) and 'Si' for Sittappa (his mother's name). He graduated from Madras Institute of Technology in automobile engineering, the institute that produced India's missile man,Ex.president Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam After assisting Mani Ratnam during Bombay, Iruvar and Dil Se, Ganesan started to make films independently.
