Virti Vaghani is an Indian actress and model best known for her performances in Jai Shri Krishna (2008) and Hope Aur Hum (2018). She has also featured in over 100 commercials for leading brands, establishing herself as a familiar face in the advertising world.
Acting Career
Virti began her career as a child artist, appearing in advertisements for well-known brands such as Whirlpool, Kwality Walls, Clinic Plus Shampoo, Dettol Soap, Knorr Soup, Mobilla, and Colgate. She made her television debut in 2008 with the popular Colors TV show Jai Shri Krishna, portraying the role of young Radha. The show was later aired on the Nick Channel and has recently been dubbed and broadcast on Tamil and Bengali television channels, further expanding its reach.
In the same year, Virti made her Bollywood debut with Patiala House (2011), directed by Nikkhil Advani and starring Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma. She later gained recognition for her role as Tanu in the 2018 comedy-drama film Hope Aur Hum, alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Kulkarni. While working on the film, Virti faced challenges with certain pronunciations, but veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah helped her using a ‘Henry Higgins’ technique, a learning experience she found fascinating.
In 2020, Virti appeared in the Disney+ Hotstar web series Aarya, starring Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh, and Sikandar Kher. She played Arundhati, Aarya’s teenage daughter, portraying the complexities of adolescence and the vulnerabilities of being drawn into questionable relationships.
In 2025, Virti is set to make her lead actress debut in Tollywood with Nara Rohit’s feel-good entertainer Sundarakanda, marking a new chapter in her acting journey.
