Pawan Kalyan is riding high on his success of Jalsa after 7 long years. So it's no surprise that he's pouring all his energies into his next project to make it even bigger than Jalsa. Puli, his next flick, directed by S.J. Suryah, is shaping up well, according to insiders.
Everything is perfect, except for one tiny fact, which is that no heroine has been finalized for Puli. Of course, Parvathi Melton, a good friend of Pawan Kalyan, is the second heroine. But Pawan Kalyan, who wanted a big Mumbai-based heroine to star opposite him has run into a wall every time he's approached a leading Bollywood heroine. First, there was Kareena of the Kapoor khadaan, who politely turned the martial arts hero down; then Priyanka Chopra too gave a big thumbs down for a rare chance to act with Pawan Kalyan. Even Katrina Kaif's name was suggested by inside sources. But nothing came of that bit of speculation.
