Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani  aka  RRKPK is a Hindi romantic comedy movie directed by Karan Johar. The screenplay was written by Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy, while the dialogue was carried out by Ishita Moitra. The movie stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, along with Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Raj Sharma, Garima Agarwal, and many others who have been seen in supporting roles.  The cinematography was handled by Manush Nandan, and Nitin Baid edited the movie. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics for the songs, and Pritam Chakraborty composed the soundtracks and background music. This movie was produced by Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banners of Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Story Rocky Randhawa is a successful businessman and a bit of a playboy. He lives in Delhi and comes from a traditional Punjabi family. Rani Chatterjee is an independent and career-oriented journalist who also lives in Delhi. She comes from a traditional Bengali family. Rocky and Rani meet at a party, and they are instantly attracted to each other. They start dating, but their relationship is met with opposition from their families. Rocky's family wants him to marry a Punjabi girl, while Rani's family wants her to marry a Bengali boy. Rocky and Rani decide to prove their families wrong by living with each other's families for three months before getting married. During this time, they get to know each other's families better and start to understand each other's cultures. The rest of the film will focus on whether Rocky and Rani can overcome the objections of their families, get married, and live happily ever after or not. Release Date The movie " Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani " was released in theatres on July 28 , 2023. It was released on Amazon Prime Video on September 22, 2023. Budget: " Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani " was made on a budget of 160 crores, but only 140 crores were spent on production, and 20 crores were spent on prints and advertising. Box-Office:   " Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani " made a good opening with 40.1 crores of collection. Whereas in the first week "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" earned 73.33 crores and 47.45 crores in its second week. Till now box office collection of this movie is 158.65 crores.
