Aindrila Sharma was an Indian actress and model who primarily worked in Bengali films and television soap operas. She was a prominent face on Bengali Television, appearing in serials such as 'Jiyon Kathi', 'Jhumur', and 'Jiban Jyoti'. Other than acting she also worked as a social media influencer and model.
Early Life
Aindrila Sharma was born on 5th February 1997 in Kolkata, to Uttam Sharma and Shika Sharma. Her father Utham Sharma works as a doctor. She has an elder sister named Aishwarya Sharma who is also a doctor. Aindrila Sharma completed her school education at Maharani Kashishari Girls High School, Kolkata, and also held a degree from Calcutta University.
Career
Aindrila Sharma started her acting debut in the daily soap opera Tv series 'Jhumur'which was aired on Colors Bangla in 2017. Later, she appeared in many television serials like Jibon Jyoti and Ami Didi No.1 She became prominent among audiences when she played a central character in the TV serial 'Jyothi Kathi'. In 2021, Aindrila Sharma was cast in the TV serial 'Ami Didi No.1'. In the same year, she was featured in the Bengali magazine 'Aparajita'. Being an actress, Aindrila Sharma surprised her audiences with her brilliant performances in Television Industry. In 2022, the actress received Tele Academy Award and was nominated for the Bengali Leadership Award.
Illness and death
The actor was a two-time cancer survivor. As per media reports, Aindrila Sharma recovered from the disease in the mid of the year 2022. But later, she was admitted to a hospital in critical condition on November 1 after she suffered a brain stroke. Then she had to be kept under ventilatory assistance for several days. After that, the actor suffered multiple cardiac arrests on November 14 and later her health deteriorated. On 20 November, she breathed her last at a hospital in Kolkata.
