Amit Purohit was a Bollywood actor, who played Aditi Rao Hydari's ex-boyfriend in the 2018 hit film Sammohanam, directed by Mohana Krishna Indragant. Amit passed away on the evening of July 10, 2019. His cause of death is Unknown. His costar Sudheer Babu wrote in a tweet posted July 10: "Saddened by the death news of Amit Purohit. He played Amit Malhotra (Sameera's ex-boyfriend) in Sammohanam. Very friendly guy and always gave 100% for every shot. Another young and good actor left us too early. May his soul find peace."
