Ananya Panday was born on October 30, 1998 , in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Bollywood actor Chunky Panday and costume designer Bhavana Panday . Growing up in a film-connected family, Ananya attended the prestigious Dhirubhai Ambani International School . From a young age, she was inclined toward acting, fashion, and dance. Before entering films, she was often seen at celebrity gatherings and became known among the media as a Gen-Z fashion icon. Career Beginnings Ananya made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with Karan Johar’s teen drama Student of the Year 2 , starring alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.
