Bala Saravanan is an Indian film actor who has mainly made appearances in Tamil films. He gained prominence when he appeared in the Vijay TV college drama series Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloriyin Kadhai. His most appreciated comic performances were seen in Kutti Puli, Thirudan Police and Darling.

Personal Life

Bala Saravanan was born on November 2, 1987, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. His father's name is Ranganathan, and his mother's name is Shanthi. He has a younger sister named Akshaya. Bala Saravanan completed his schooling at St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School in Madurai and then pursued a degree in EEE in engineering from the SACS Engineering College, Madurai.

Bala Saravanan is married to Hema, whom he met through common friends. They got married in 2018 and have a son named Aaryan. Bala Saravanan is known for his down-to-earth personality and his love for his family. He is also a popular philanthropist and has supported various social causes.

Career

Saravanan made his debut as an actor in Vijay TV's school drama serial "Kallikattu Pallikoodam" and came to notice in the Vijay TV college drama series Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloriyin Kadhai. He then went on to appear in comedy roles in films. His first film was Ego, and he gained notice for playing the character of Pappu in the film Kuttipuli. He received praise for his comic performances in Thirudan Police and Darling. Critics stated that he was "a scream" and "keeps you in splits" at Thirudan Police.

The versatile actor has enthralled audiences with his stellar performances in a plethora of hit Tamil films, such as Vedalam, Oru Naal Koothu, Kavalai Vendam, Kootathil Oruthan, and Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. In 2016, he made his Malayalam debut with the film Godha, though it failed to showcase his full potential.

However, he bounced back with aplomb, collaborating with top stars like STR, SK, and AK in the critically acclaimed films Eeswaran, Don, and Thunivu. Additionally, he starred in the Tamil crime web series Vilangu, where he delivered a mesmerising performance that garnered him a separate fan following for his captivating dialogue delivery.
