Gavie Chahal Biography

Navdeepak Singh Chahal , popularly known as Gavie Chahal is an Indian actor born on 11 November 1978 to late S Gurdev Singh Chahal and Sdn DaljitKaur in Mansa, Punjab. There are four siblings two Brother and two Sister among which Chahal is the younger one. He spent his initial years in   Mansa, Punjab. Later, he moved to Patiala in eighth standard for educational purpose. His Father was a Principal and his mother was a teacher. Chahal has done his Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Gurdaspur, Batala.
       
Career

He won the title of  Mr. Punjab in 2000 and also won the title of Mr. North India. later on he got an offer for a Punjabi music video. His first Punjabi music video “Jattan de putt sadh ho gaye ” was a success. After that he suddenly gained popularity. After that he appeared in many music videos around 70 to 80 with many famous singers and also won 1st prize in Malaysia and got a cast prize around 10 lakh. His short film Chicken Biryani also got many national and international awards.

In 2012 he got his major break from “EkTha Tiger” starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, where he played the main negative role as Abrar, he also played the same character in “Tiger Zinda hai ” in 2017  which proved to be a Blockbuster. He Is Known For Yeh Hai India,YaaranNaalBaharan, Mehndi Wale Hath, Majajan and Tere Ishq Nachaya and many more. His Hindi feature film by director Lom Harsh ‘Yeh Hai India’ reached FOG Film Festival in the USA.
