Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was born on 3 March 2000 in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu grew up in a Punjabi Jat Sikh family, with her father working in real estate and her mother serving as a gynecologist. She attended Shivalik Public School and the Post Graduate Government College for Girls in Chandigarh, and has been pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration.

Achievements Of Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu 

Harnaaz began her pageant journey as a teenager, winning titles such as Miss Chandigarh (2017), Miss Max Emerging Star India (2018), Femina Miss India Punjab (2019), and eventually Miss Diva Universe (2021). In December 2021, she made history by becoming the third Indian woman to win Miss Universe—ending a 21-year wait—joining the ranks of Sushmita Sen (1994) and Lara Dutta (2000).

Work In Punjabi Movies

Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English, Harnaaz also ventured into acting with Punjabi films like Yaara Diyan Poo Baran and Bai Ji Kuttange. Known for her resilience, she overcame childhood bullying and body-shaming, attributing her strength to unwavering family support and self-belief.

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is set to make her Bollywood debut with Baaghi 4, a high-octane action-thriller directed by A. Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film will see her share the screen with Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonam Bajwa. This debut marks a new chapter in Harnaaz’s transition from pageantry to acting, with the movie slated for theatrical release on September 5, 2025
