Jacqueline Fernandez Biography

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and model who mainly works in the Hindi Film industry. She made her debut film in 2009 with Sujoy Gosh's fantasy drama Aladin. Jacqueline is one of the most glamorous actresses in Bollywood and is also known for her performances in films such as Murder 2, Housefull 2, Kick and Race 2.

Personal Life

Jacqueline Fernandez was born to a Sinhalese family in Sri Lanka. She studied in Bahrain at Holy Crest Girls School, Manama. She then completed her graduation from Murrey University in Melbourne, Australia. Then she turned to modeling.

Career Life

Jacqueline made her acting debut in the 2009 film Aladin. Like a fantasy-adventure drama, the film received mixed responses from the audience. Later, she played a lead role in Mahesh Bhatt's film Murder-2 in 2011. The film was a commercial success and she became popular with audiences. Following the success of the film, she appeared in films such as Housefull 2 (2012), Race 2 (2013), Kick (2014).

Apart from acting in the Hindi cinema industry, she made her Hollywood debut in 2015 with the British horror film 'Definition of Fear'. Later, she appeared in films like Houseful 3, and Dishoom which were all bombed at the box office.

In 2018, she did another film named 'Race -3 'along with Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. The film was a commercial success and it became the highest opening Bollywood film of the year with Rs 29.17 crore earnings.

After the success of 'Race-3', she appeared in a cameo role in the film 'Saaho' in 2018. She was last seen in films such as Bachchhan Paandey, Kirkus and Ram Setu.
