Malaika Arora Biography
Malaika Arora is an Indian actress, dancer, model, VJ, and television presenter.
Malaika was born to a Punjabi father and a Malayali Catholic mother. She had completed her secondary education from Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur, Mumbai. Malaika was married to Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan. They have a son, Arhaan.
Malaika was a VJ in MTV India, when MTV India started its operations in India. She became the most prominent female in urban India without any background in the movies. She and Cyrus Broacha anchored some programs like Love Line and Style Check at award ceremonies and concerts on the television channel.
Then she started modelling and appeared in many ads as well as cameos in Bollywood film songs. She has some hit songs to her credit like Chaiyya Chaiyya from the film Dil Se, Kaal Dhamaal from the film Kaal, the title song from Heyy Babyy and the title song from the film Om Shanti Om.
In the year 2010, she danced in a superhit item song Munni Badnaam in the film Dabangg, which was produced by her husband Arbaaz Khan.
She was also seen in some TV serials. She was seen as a judge in the serial Nach Baliye. Then again she appeared as a judge in the next season of Nach Baliye. Then she appeared in the serial Zara Nachke Dikha as a judge again. And then Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa with Madhuri Dixit and Remo D'Souza.
