Malti Chahar Biography

Malti Chahar was born on November 15, 1990, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, to Lokendra Singh Chahar, a retired Air Force officer, and Pushpa Chahar, a homemaker. She hails from a cricketing family—her younger brother, Deepak Chahar, and cousin, Rahul Chahar, are both Indian cricketers.

Malti completed her schooling in Agra and went on to earn a degree in software engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow.


Career

Malti began her journey in the entertainment world through beauty pageants soon after completing her studies. She won the Miss India Earth title in 2009 and was crowned Miss Photogenic at the Femina Miss India Delhi 2014 pageant, where she also emerged as a finalist.

Her transition into acting came with the 2017 short film Manicure, marking her debut. She later appeared in feature films such as Genius (2018) and Ishq Pashmina (2022). Alongside acting, Malti ventured into writing and direction, creating short films like 7 Phere: A Dream Housewife and O Maaeri.

Malti rose to public prominence in 2018 during the Indian Premier League (IPL) season for her enthusiastic support of the Chennai Super Kings, where her brother Deepak Chahar plays. Her cheerful presence in the stands quickly made her a social media sensation.

In October 2025, she entered Bigg Boss 19 as a wildcard contestant during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, further expanding her presence on Indian television.
