Poonam Dubey is a popular Bhojpuri actress who has starred in over 100 films. She is known for her glamorous looks and her dancing skills; she has also won several awards for her work, including the "Best Supporting Actress" award at the Bhojpuri Cine Awards in 2018.

Personal Life

Poonam Dubey was born on February 8, 1990, in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She received her primary and senior studies at St. Joseph's Convent School in Allahabad. She enrolled at Allahabad University after completing her high school education to pursue an arts degree. To pursue a career in modelling and acting, she, however, left college. She was a talented student who excelled in her coursework. She had a passion for acting and modelling nonetheless, at an early age. She took part in numerous school and college productions and pageants. While still a college student, she started modelling for local companies.

Career

Poonam began her modelling career in 2008, and soon after that, she was featured in a number of print and television commercials. The 2010 Bhojpuri film "Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar" marked her acting debut. Since then, Poonam Dubey has acted in a number of popular films, including "Jaanam," "Inteqam," "Rangdari Tax," "Chana Jor Garam," and "Munna Mawali." She has also received numerous honours for her performance, including the Bhojpuri Filmfare Awards' "Best Actress" trophy.

She gained a sizable fan base quickly and continues to sign other projects, including the critically praised films Dunga in 2019, Patna Se Pakistan in 2020, and Love Vivah in 2021. This made her one of the most well-known figures in the Bojpuri industry.
