Ravi Babu is a veteran film director, producer, and actor, mostly in the Tollywood film industry, who has also starred in films in Tamil and Kannada. His acting and directing abilities led to his nomination. Best director at the 2009 Filmfare Awards and best villain at the 2012 National Film Awards.
He was born to Chalapathi Rao and Indumaty Chowdrani in Poranki, Vijayawada. Additionally, he has appeared in 75 films across all of his roles. particularly those who wish to portray him as both a villain and comedian.
His early years as an actor in the business were not immensely helpful. Thus, in 2002, he made the transition from actor to filmmaker with the Telugu movie Allari. The spectators and media both gave the film excellent marks.
Following the triumph of his directing efforts, such as Nachavule and Amaravathi, he rose to become one of the Telugu cinema industry's finest creative and effective directors.
Both of his movies, Avunu and Avunu 2, were huge hits. Even before it opens, demand for his most recent movie, Aaviri, is enormous. He established his own production company, Flying Frogs, in 1999, originally to create television ads but eventually to deliver silver-screen films.
