Rituraj Singh (23 May 1964 – 20 February 2024) was a distinguished Indian actor known for his versatile performances across television, film, and digital platforms. His career, spanning over three decades, showcased his dedication to the craft and his ability to portray a wide range of characters.
Born as Rituraj Singh Chandrawat Sisodia in Kota, Rajasthan, he hailed from a Sisodia Rajput family. Although his roots were in Rajasthan, he spent his formative years in Delhi, attending Modern School, Barakhamba Road. During his childhood, he briefly moved to the United States but returned to India at the age of 12. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Rituraj's passion for acting was ignited during his teenage years. He honed his skills with Barry John’s Theatre Action Group (TAG) in Delhi, where he spent 12 years performing. This experience laid a strong foundation for his acting career .
