Sumbul Touqeer Khan is an Indian actress, model, costume designer, and social media sensation. She gained notoriety for her portrayal of the title role in the 2020 Star Plus TV series "Imlie." Sumbul Touqeer earned prominence by participating in Bigg Boss Season 16 as one of the youngest contenders.

Personal Life

On November 15, 2003, Sumbul Touqeer was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to Touqeer Hasan Khan, a choreographer for TV dramas. Her mother passed away when Sumbul was a young child. Her sister, "Saniya Touqeer," was a rising star in the television industry. She attended NTTC High School in Malad West, Mumbai, for her schooling education and Monika Verma's Academy at Sahajamudra Acting Academy for her degree in sewing studies.

Career

Sumbul Tauqeer Khan started her professional life in the television industry as a child artist. She presently plays the role of "Tamarind" in the hugely famous Imlie programme on Star Plus. Sumbul had previously appeared in a number of well-known TV shows.

She also contributed to a number of TV serials, including Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein (2019), Jodha Akbar (2013), and Ghar Ki Jyoti (2019). Additionally, he had acted in the well-known film "Article 15" alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.

Not many people might know that the actress participated in reality competitions like Dance India Dance Lil' Masters and Hindustan Ka Big Star. Although she didn't win these competitions, her dancing abilities were recognised and came to light on the Bigg Boss show.
