Vindhya Vishaka Biography

Vindhya Vishaka Medapati is a television host, sports presenter, video jockey, and model, renowned for her work as a sports presenter in the Telugu language. She gained recognition as the first woman to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Telugu on the Star Sports Network. Vindhya is currently a presenter for various tournaments, including the Star Sports, Indian Premier League, and the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Additionally, she founded the Sreecha Welfare Foundation, through which she conducts social activities.

Early Life and Family:

Vindhya was born on April 18, 1992, in Secunderabad. Her father, M. Sattireddy, is a farmer, and her mother, Mamatha Chakravarti, is a teacher. Vindhya completed her degree from Kasturba Gandhi Women’s Degree & PG College in Marredpally and earned her MA in English from Osmania University.

Career:

Vindhya\'s interest in modeling led her to win the runner-up title for Fashion Big Bazaar Miss Cover Girl Hyderabad and walk the ramp for Kalamandir Hyderabad Fashion Week in 2011. She began her career as a news reader at HMTV in November 2011. In 2013, she joined Star Maa Music as a VJ and successfully hosted the morning live show \"Chai Biscuit.\" Vindhya also hosted the comedy show \"Family Circus\" on Zee Telugu in 2014 and \"Hungama\" on ETV Plus from 2016 to 2017. She has worked on shows like \"Hot Wheels\" on TV9, \"Sakhi\" on ETV 2, and \"Maa Oori Vanta\" on Maa TV.

In July 2017, Vindhya joined the Star Sports Network as a sports presenter, hosting tournaments like Pro Kabaddi League, Indian Premier League, and ICC Cricket World Cup. She hosts the game show \"Nuvv Ready Nenu Ready\" on ETV.

Vindhya has also hosted several award functions, including CineMAA Awards, Filmfare Awards, Santosham Film Awards, Zee Kutumbam Awards, and Zee Cine Awards 2017.
