VTV Ganesh is an Indian actor, comedian, and film producer primarily active in the Tamil film industry. He was born on December 21, 1961, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Ganesh started his career as a producer and ventured into acting later on. He gained recognition for his comedic timing and expressive performances, often portraying supporting roles in Tamil films. His unique style and ability to evoke laughter endeared him to audiences and earned him a place among the prominent comedians in the industry. One of Ganesh's notable collaborations was with director Gautham Vasudev Menon, with whom he worked on several successful projects. He gained widespread acclaim for his role in the romantic drama film " Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa " (2010), directed by Gautham Menon , where he played the character of Trisha's father. Apart from acting, VTV Ganesh has also tried his hand at film production. He has produced films under his banner VTV Productions. One of his notable productions is " Inga Enna Solluthu " (2014), in which he also played the lead role.
