The love of auto drivers is evident when we see the auto stands named after Shankar Nag and witness auto drivers flaunting their affection for the late actor by mounting large posters of him in their auto's interiors. Well, they worship him even today. After three decades, the Auto Raja title, which won the fan following of huge number of auto drivers for Shankar Nag, is being used for Ganesh, Bhama and Deepika Kamaiah starrer movie. Has the film lived up to audience expectations?
Golden star Ganesh should concentrate more on dialogue oriented sweet cinemas. Action does not suit him. He has not got his share in this film. Bhama is not only pretty but emoted well. Deepika Kamaiah in one of her a few scenes steals the show.
Arjun Janya does not disappoint in two tunes. Manjunath Nayak has given the right color required for the frames.
For Ganesh, this film is a litmus test. Coming after successive failures, this could be his make-or-break flick. There was huge hype, and trade insiders say the film has managed to get one of the biggest openings for the actor in the last few years. Like most hyped films, the film flatters to deceive though. It begins on a promising note, picks up pace before it hits a beaten path for the better part of the second half.
