Mussanje Gelathi Review
Director BP Shrinivas’ movie Mussanje Gelathi that was facing the fury of psychologists students and many parents, has finally hit the screens. It seems that the movie Mussanje Gelathi, which deals with a professor’s infatuation towards his student, is a gift to the audiences on ‘Teachers Day’.
It is the first movie in the history of Kannada film industry, which features father and daughter in lovers' roles. BP Shrinivas is the director, producer and hero of the movie Mussanje Gelathi. His daughter Shalini has played the heroine. It is noteworthy that nowhere in the movie they have appeared in romantic scene.
It is a bold attempt by BP Shrinivas. But he has failed to present his ideas on screen. The highlights of the movie are rich production values, good dialogues, AM Neel’s music and S Satish Kumar's cinematography. BP Shrinivas seems to have set out to give a powerful message through the movie. But too much of muddled and confusing situations have marred the beauty of the movie and finally end up in missing out the main track.
