Mahaan is a Tamil action thriller movie written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj of Pettai fame. The movie Mahaan star cast includes Vikram as Mahaan, Dhruv Vikram  as Dada, Vani Bhojan, Bobby Simha and Simran. The music for the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan while cinematography and editing are performed by Shreyaas Krishna and Vivek Harshan respectively.  Actress Vani Bhojan enacted the role of Mangai, Vikram's love interest in the movie. However, her scenes were cut from the final draft of the movie. The movie Mahaan is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio. The production house announced the principal cast and crew members on 10 March 2021. The soundtrack for the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, with lyrics written by Vivek and Muthamil. Story Mahaan movie story is about Gandhi Mahaan(Vikram) a school teacher, whose family leaves him when he strays from the path of ideological living in his search for personal freedom. However, as he realizes his ambitions he also misses the presence of his son Dada(Dhruv Vikram) in his life. Having fulfilled his dream of becoming a billionaire, does life give him a second chance to be a father? This story is about how his life goes through an unexpected series of events in this thrilling, action-packed journey.
