On the whole, Nirmala Convent is a perfect launch pad for Roshan Srikanth. The young hero shines in his role and surely has a rocking future ahead. The film also has some very decent moments throughout and moves at a simple and decent pace. If you ignore the slightly slow first half and predictable nature of the film, you can easily give this film a shot for its innocence and Nag’s cameo.

The first half of the film will test the patience of the audience as it has logicless boring scenes. Second half is better compared to first half . The story starts to reveal just 10 minutes before Interval bang. This brings some interest to watch the second half. Overall, One would feel better if the film is watched without any expectations.

The movie, overall, has a feel good factor to it. Set in a scenic village background and the hustle bustle of the city, it adds charm to the story. One of the major highlights is Nag singing “Kotha Kotha Bhasha” apart from good music by Roshan Saluri. All in all, a pleasant watch for the weekend.

The film lives up to its image of a teenage love story. Although predictable, certain commercial elements could work for sections of audiences.

In the end Nirmala Convent turns out to be a promotional film for Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu show. Lead pair, Nagarjuna and the visuals are the positives but they cannot save Nirmala Convent, which has severely suffered because of a pathetic script.
