Gaurav Prateek Biography

Gaurav Prateek is a name among millions who struggled, failed and surged ahead in search of success, happiness and contentment. Just like any non-filmy guy, he too had a bunch of unclear dreams and a blurred vision of his goals in life. All he had was an undying learning attitude. Rowing through ups and downs, it was time that taught him the true meaning of his life.
As an actor, he was associated with big production houses such as Ekta Film Entertainment, and even Anupam Kher Production since 2006. He was a radio jockey for 2B radio and also worked as the Show Writer for the radio station and even for Doordarshan programs created by A Plus Global Media.
He was the leading star in ‘Ruke Padgey’, 'Mandbuddhi', 'Haq Se',  'Pyaar Ki Miss Call’ and even acted in ‘Main Ro Raaz’ (Rajasthani movie). Later, he acted in a Bengali movie ‘Srishty’. As a good looking actor, he did extensive modelling for Raj Vanshi’s Sherwani product.
 
He was also the brand model for ‘Ziddi Jeans’ which figured him in a calendar. He was also the face of SR Power Batteries and got associated with Japan’s modelling assignments.

In the year 2004 and 2006, he received the Governor and President Award from the Governor of Uttar Pradesh Shree Vishnu Kant Shashtri and late President APJ Abdul Kalam for “Best Theater & Cultural Activities”.

Thankfully he did not want to be a part of the erotic thriller movies but did concentrate on movies that were based on poetry writing, dance, singing, fighting, and emotions & comedy.
