Lakshmi Menon is a prominent actress in Tamil movie industries. She rose to fame in the Tamil industry with her roles in movies, Sundara Pandian and Kumki. Born to Dubai-based artist Ramakrishnan and dance teacher Usha Menon, She started dance at her age of 3 and learnt Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Kathakali.
In 2011 Malayalam director Vinayan who saw her during Bharatanatyam telecast cast her in his film Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya. Soon after, she played the lead along with Vineeth in another Malayalam film titled Ideal Couple, directed by Ali Akbar.
She started her career as a model, appearing in many TV advertisements including that of Fair and Lovely and Josco Jeweller. She also starred in Falguni Pathak's music album Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaye.
