Pooja Hegde is an Indian model and actress who appears mainly in Telugu and Hindi films. Born on October 13, 1990, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Pooja Hegde hails from the Tulu-speaking Bunt community. Her academic journey took place at Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai, while her higher education was pursued at M. M. K. College, where she actively engaged in dance and fashion exhibitions.

Initiating her career in the realm of modeling, Pooja Hegde clinched the title of second runner-up at the 2010 I Am She–Miss Universe India pageant. Her debut in the cinematic world transpired through the Kannada film "Mugamoodi" (2012), followed by her appearance in the Telugu movie "Oka Laila Kosam" (2014).
