Poonam Kaur aka Nakshatra is a popular Indian actress and model, primarily known for her work in the Telugu film industry. She has also appeared in a few Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Personal Life Born in Hyderabad, Telangana, Poonam Kaur attended Hyderabad Public School for her school education. Following this, she relocated to Delhi and pursued her graduation in Fashion Designing at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Delhi. Career Life Poonam Kaur embarked on her acting journey with the Telugu movie 'Mayajalam,' but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations at the box office. Undeterred, she ventured into Tamil cinema with her debut in 'Nenjirukkum Varai' directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar in 2006.
