His younger brothers Kunaal Roy Kapur and Aditya Roy Kapur are actors in Hindi cinema. Siddharth’s first wife was his childhood sweetheart and his second wife who he separated from three years ago, was a television producer. During an interview in May 2012, Vidya Balan announced that she was dating Siddharth. Siddharth has apparently gifted his present wife Vidya Balan an apartment worth approximately worth 14 Crore Indian Rupees. He started working at Procter & Gamble after graduating from JBIMS. Post that he joined Star Plus at the time of the launch of Kaun Banega Crorepati (2001). After working with Star Plus he shifted to UTV. Since 2006, he is appointed as the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures.
