Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is an Indian soap opera that went on air on December 3, 2013, on Star Plus starring Karan Patel as Raman Kumar Bhalla and Divyanka Tripathi as Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner, Balaji Telefilms. The show is partially based on Maju Kapur’s novel Custody. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein follows the story of Raman Bhalla and Ishita Iyer who are connected by their common love for Raman’s little daughter Ruhi. Ishita is a Tamilian whereas Raman is a Punjabi.
