Sampath Kumar , professionally known as Vishnuvardhan and Sahasa Simha, was an Indian film actor. On September 18, 1950, he was born, and on December 30, 2009, he died. Vishnuvardhan was born in Mysore, Karnataka, into a brahmin family. Personal Life H.L. Narayana Rao is his father, and Kamakshamma is his mother. His father was a writer of screenplays for movies, a musician, and an artist. His family was a resident of Chamundipuram in Mysore. His father had a well-known musical instrument collection. Vishnuvardhan attended the Gopalswamy School in Mysore for his elementary education and the Kannada Madari School in Bangalore for his middle school education. He graduated from the National College, Basavanagudi, Bangalore, after finishing high school there. On February 27, 1975, at Kuchalamba Kalyana Mantapa in Bangalore, he wed Kannada actress Bharathi. Keerthi and Chandana, his two adopted daughters, were his. Vishnuvardhan was a very charitable individual who generously gave to others. He allegedly used to assist people but ask that they not discuss it in public because he didn't want to become known for his good deeds. Many of these subjects became public after his passing because numerous TV channels featured people who benefited from Vishnuvardhan. Four sisters and one older brother make up Vishnuvardhan's family. The sisters include Smt. Indrani, Smt. Jayshree, Smt. Rama, and Smt. Poornima in addition to Sri. N. Ravikumar, who is the brother. Carrer Vishnuvardhan started his acting career in " Vamshavraksha ," directed by Girish Karnad. For this movie, Vishnuvardhan won the National Award . But the actor grew popular only after appearing in the lead role in Puttanna Kanagal's Nagarahaavu. He appeared on television for the first time in the 1980s. Shankar Nag directed Malgudi Days and introduced Vishnuvardhan as the main character Venkat Rao in an episode called "Rupees Forty-five a Month." His Hombisilu, Premaloka, Bandhana, Suprabhatha, Yajamana, Aptha Mithra, Adimai Changal (Malayalam), Nee Bareda Kaadambari, and Kauravar (Malayalam) have all had a one-year or one-and-a-half-year run at the theaters. Vishnu has not stuck to any brand of movies. During his career, Vishnuvardhan had to undergo a lot of harassment, tension, and suffering. He had to withstand the test of time. He lost his father in 1973, shortly after the release of his first movie. In 1975, his suffering worsened. But due to his strong willingness, mental power, and patience, he emerged as a winner. An untoward incident during the filming of the movie Gandhada Gudi led to many scandals. Everyone in the film industry was aware of the truth. Misinterpretation of statements by the press further deepened the mystery. Due to this, there were obstacles to the screening of Vishnu's movies. When Vishnu was away on a shoot, his family would receive threatening phone calls and verbal abuse. They were threatened with dire consequences. Due to the pressure from his fans, Vishnu started singing in movies occasionally, and of late, he has started singing devotional songs. The first devotional album sung by him was "Lord Ayappa." The title of the album was "Jyothiroopa Ayappa" and was a big hit. Death Vishnuvardhan died of a massive heart attack on December 30 , 2009, at Vikram Hospital, Mysore, Karnataka, and was later cremated at Abhinay Studio.
