Cannes 2015 Day 4: Salma Hayek Bonds With Aishwarya Rai

Day 4 of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2015 is filled with gorgeous L'Oreal beauties. From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Salma Hayek, we have some of the hottest ladies from around the world gather for some events on Saturday.

We snapped Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salma Hayek bond at UN Panel/Variety discussion on gender equality on Day 4 of Cannes 2015.

Salma Hayek has been at Cannes 2015 since two days for her new movie premiere. The gorgeous actress was seen at red carpet on Day 2 of Cannes 2015 after she attended a photo call for her new film release, 'A Tale of Tales.'

'A Tale of Tales' which is compiled on fairytale by 17th Century poet Giambattista Basile. Vincent Cassel and John C. Reilly are also expected for Tale of Tales premiere, the first English-language film to come from Italian filmmaker Matteo Garrone.

Ash and Salma Hayek bonded at the UN Panel/Variety discussion on gender equality, and even posed for the cameras hugging each other and smiling.

The 'Pink Panther' actress who has been the ambassador for L'Oreal, the official cosmetic brand at Cannes for years has become a common face at the Film Festival. This is the 14th appearance of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes Film Festival.

"For a long time they thought the only thing we were interested in seeing were romantic comedies," Salma said at the discussion while slamming movie industry for giving up on women both behind and in front of the camera. They don't see us as a powerful economic force, which is an incredible ignorance," reports Variety.

Parker Posey ("Irrational Man") as well as producersChristine Vachon and Elizabeth Karlsen ("Carol") also attended the event.

The event was co-hosted by the UN Women's HeForShe campaign, and moderated by Variety co-editor-in-chief Claudia Eller and UN Women head Elizabeth Nyamayaro. Variety publisher Michelle Sobrino welcomed the crowd at the Radisson Blu hotel.

Day 4 of Cannes 2015 is also special as Oscar winning actor, Matthw McConaughey is here for the premiere of his much anticipated film, 'The Sea of Trees'. The 'Interstellar' actor is set to attend the premiere of his new film along with his co-star, Naomi Watts tonight.

L'Oreal ambassador, Sonam Kapoor was also seen at the photoshoot.
