Akhanda

Akhanda is an action drama movie directed by Boyapati Srinu. The movie casts Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal are in the lead roles along with Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Poorna, Avinash, Subbaraju, Sai Kumar, Sravan, Prabhakar are seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by S. Thaman while cinematography was done by C. Ram Prasad and it is edited by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao. The film is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under Dwaraka Creations banner. Story Murali Krishna (Balakrishna) is a farmer from the Anantapur district who is trying to end factionalism and bring peace in Rayalaseema. Murali Krishna will go to any extent to save his farmers, no matter the difficulties. Saranya (Pragya Jaiswal) comes to the same district as the Collector after looking at Muralikrishna's character and caring about the people, instantly she likes him. Both Muralikrishna and Saranya are married and for their blessed with a baby girl.  Varadarajulu (Srikanth) grew up as a mafia with illegal mining, but Murali Krishna stands as a barrier to Varadarajulu's activities. But Muralikrishna is arrested in a case under the influence of political clout in the area. At the same time, Saranya got suspension from the department. Release  Akhanda movie released in theaters on December 2nd, 2021. Digital distribution rights of the movie were acquired by Disney+ Hotstar for ₹15 crores and released on Hotstar on 21 January 2022. Satellite rights of the movie were purchased by Star Maa and scheduled to premiere on Star Maa on 27 February 2022.
