Mac Miller, Pittsburgh Rapper Dies at 26 Due To Drug Overdose


Mac Miller, the famous rapper from Pittsburgh died on Friday (September 7, 2018) due to drug overdose. According to the reports, the rapper took his last breath at his residence in Los Angeles. The rapper and producer publicly spoke about his struggle with substance abuse and desire to achieve sobriety. In the course of his music career, he created some of the best albums that topped the Billboard chart. He made his debut through the album Blue Slide Park.

His songs mostly spoke about his extensive usage of drugs. In the song 'Loud' he said, "Yeah, people lie, numbers won't ... Keep me high, drugs is close ... Roll one up, pour a cup ... Watch the world go up in smoke." Only a day before his death, Vulture published a profile in which he was stated as to saying, "The people that have the best chance of knowing me, that would like to, would just be by listening to my music."

Last Month, reportedly, the rapper was charged by the Los Angeles City Attorney's with DUI as a result of a May car accident he was involved in. Previously, he was in the news for breaking up with the singer Ariana Grande.
