The
Virugambakkam
police
registered
a
case
against
actor
Singamuthu,
the
former
co
artist
and
todays
arch
rival
of
Vadivelu,
on
a
complaint
lodged
by
Vadivelu's
manager.
In
his
complaint,
Shankar,
the
comedian's
manager
stated
threats
and
harassment
from
producer
Kannan
and
a
group
of
around
fifty
people
who
had
allegedly
threatened
Vadivelu
upon
reaching
his
office
drunk
and
used
foul
language
against
him.
According
to
producer
Kannan
who
has
also
lodged
a
complaint
with
the
police
commissioner,
he
was
celebrating
at
a
birthday
function
at
his
home
with
actor
Singamuthu,
Anandraj
and
others.
The
office
bearers
of
Vadivelu
on
the
opposite
side
of
the
street
got
disturbed
by
the
sounds
of
fire
crackers
and
came
to
threaten
them.
According
to
him
six
sovereigns
of
gold
was
taken
away
from
his
father-in
-law.
Retaliating
to
these
accusations,
Vadivelu
has
said,
"I
was
not
there
when
all
these
incidents
took
place.
I
have
never
seen
Kannan
but
heard
he
lives
opposite
my
office.
Singamuthu
is
his
friend.
On
7th
they
were
using
a
10000
vala
fire
cracker
in
front
of
my
office
premises
after
which
a
complaint
was
lodged
against
them."
"On
9th
Singamuthu
who
was
visiting
Kannan
once
again
sat
in
a
car
while
Kannan
came
armed
with
weapons
and
threatened
my
staffs
for
filing
the
complaints.
I
heard
about
threats
to
burn
my
office
if
I
don"t
back
off
in
my
proceedings
against
Singamuthu.
Murder
threats
were
issued
to
my
manager.
People
have
begun
to
think
that
if
they
come
up
against
me
they
can
easily
get
a
place
in
headlines.
It"s
a
planned
conspiracy
to
harm
my
career..."
At
then
same
time
Singamuthu
blames
that
Vadivelu
unnecessarily
is
doubting
him
and
lodged
police
complaint.
"I
know,
his
(Vadivelu)
only
aim
is
to
take
me
into
police
custody...",
Singamuthu
said.
