Kaadhal Dhandapani Dies At 71

South Indian actor Dhandapani passed away on Sunday (July 22) after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 71. The actor is survived by three sons and one daughter

The actor acclaimed to fame in his role of a villain in Kaadhal, which became his first name all throughout his career. Reports say that Dhandapani complained of uneasiness and was taken to a private hospital in Chennai before breathing his last. (Click The Below Image To See Funeral Pics)

Language was never been a barrier for the actor. He acted in all the South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam). In his career, Dhandapani featured in above 160 films in multiple languages.

His media manager has told that the veteran was acting in actor-turned-politician Sarath Kumar's film Sandamarutham.

The film fraternity had expressed its condolences to the actor's family. Various film personalities representing the South Indian Film Chamber including its President Sarath Kumar, director A Venkatesh, Samuthrakani paid their last respects.
