The
term
love
has
no
colour,
taste
or
smell.
Director
Surya
Kiran
has
tried
to
explain
the
colour
of
love.
He
has
equated
different
emotions
in
love
to
various
colours
and
brought
out
a
film
called
chapter
6.
He
has
put
his
best
efforts
to
portray
different
emotions
of
youth
in
general
and
lovers
in
particular.
However,
the
film
appeared
to
be
too
confusing.
The
first
half
tests
the
patience
of
audience
and
by
the
time
the
audiences
get
clarity
the
film
is
almost
done
and
the
climax
is
hurriedly
bundled.
Story:
Satyabhama
(Kalyani)
is
an
orphan
and
she
loves
her
roommate.
and
treats
as
her
sister.
She
commits
suicide
and
reveals
the
reason
in
a
letter.
Satyabhama
lodges
a
complaint
and
finds
that
a
police
inspector
is
trying
to
save
the
accused.
She
captures
both
the
police
officer
Suryam
and
the
accused
and
get
both
of
them
arrested.
Fearing
attack
by
goons,
the
hostel
warden
(Sakuntala)
sends
her
away
from
Hyderabad
to
Vizag.
After
reaching
Vizag,
Stayabhama
gets
a
job
in
a
chit
fund
company.
She
gets
a
house
at
cheaper
rent,
as
the
owner
(Kota
Srinivasa
Rao)
could
not
get
his
son
Satyamurthy
(Haranath)
married.
However,
love
generates
between
Satyabhama
and
Satyamurthy
and
they
get
married.
At
this
juncture,
the
chit
fund
company
turns
the
board
and
Satyabhama,
who
was
the
general
manager
caught
in
a
fix.
This
time,
Suryam
is
the
sub-inspector
of
II
Town
Police
Station
of
Vizag
and
he
wants
to
take
revenge
against
Satyabhama.
Suryam
summons
the
couple
and
tortures
Satyamurthy
for
three
days.
during
interrogation,
Suryam
bangs
Satyabhama
to
the
wall
and
she
becomes
unconscious.
Fearing
that
she
is
dead,
Suryam
throws
her
body
into
the
sea.
but
some
fishermen
rescue
her.
Will
she
get
back
her
memory?
what
happend
to
her
husband?
what
role
does
Bala
and
Sonia
Suri
play
in
the
film?
answer
to
all
these
questions
should
be
seen
on-screen.
PERFORMANCE:
Bala
and
Sonia
Suri
have
done
complete
justice
to
their
roles.
Especially
the
romantic
scenes
in
one
of
the
songs
would
attract
the
front
benchers.
However,
Bala
should
improve
his
acting
skills
and
fine
tune
his
voice.
(Of
course,
it
was
the
mistake
of
the
artiste
who
dubbed
his
voice
to
the
character).
Even
he
should
improve
his
body
language
too.
Sonia
Suri
would
fit
the
bill
for
romantic
films.
Kalyani
played
her
role
well
and
it
is
a
surprise,
how
Haranath
Policharla
got
a
chance
to
play
opposite
her,
when
there
are
whole
lot
of
heroes
in
Telugu
film
industry.
Probably,
Kalyani
being
the
producer
of
the
film,
would
have
thought
of
minimising
the
expenditure,
as
Haranath
agrees
for
a
less
remuneration.
Other
artistes
including
the
late
Rajan
P
Dev,
Kadal
Dandapani
and
others
are
appreciable.
Comedy
by
Dharmavarapu
Subrahmanyam,
Kota
Srinivasa
Rao,
Satyam
Rajesh
and
MS
Narayana
is
bearable.
TECHNICAL:
Though
the
director
boasted
that
each
scene
was
shot
in
four
angles
by
four
different
cameramen,
the
cinematography
is
not
so
great.
Music
by
PC
Sivan
and
Mohan
Sitara
is
just
average
and
not
so
impressive.
Literary
values
in
the
songs
are
nil
and
most
of
the
songs
could
not
be
understood
by
average
audiences.
Editing
by
Gauthamraju
is
haphazard
and
the
different
kind
of
narration,
on
the
lines
of
Mani
ratnam"s
Yuva
appears
to
be
puzzling
for
some
time.
It
is
not
known
why
the
director
tried
to
project
his
film
as
a
new
definition
to
love
and
how
he
imposed
six
different
colours
to
different
moods.
Voice
over
by
Jagapati
Babu
at
different
intervals
is
impressive.
REMARKS:
The
director
Surya,
who
has
given
a
big
hit
like
Satyam
has
failed
to
dish
out
similar
hits
in
his
career
thereafter.
Kalyani,
who
married
to
him,
has
tried
to
give
a
facelift
to
his
career
by
producing
a
film
on
her
own.
She
has
convinced
Jagapati
Babu,
with
whom
she
played
heroine
in
films
like
Pedababu,
to
give
voice
over
too.
However,
none
of
her
efforts
proved
fruitful.
Though
the
film
was
completed
long
ago,
it
could
not
see
the
light
for
many
months
and
soon
after
its
release
everyone
comes
to
know
that
there
is
nothing
in
it.
Watch
the
film
only
to
test
your
patience.
