Veteran
Nana
Patekar,
will
again
don
the
director's
hat,
after
two
decades,
for
his
second
film,
an
unconventional
love
story
of
a
50-year-old
man
and
a
25-year-old
woman.
"I
have
written
a
script..I
may
direct
it
any
moment...I
don't
know
exactly
when.
I
don't
think
its
an
issue-based
film.
In
my
film,
the
actress
would
be
of
24-25
years
of
age
and
the
actor
would
be
almost
of
50," Nana
told
PTI.
The
film
will
be
a
simple
love
story,
on
the
story
lines
of
Hollywood
film
Ryan's
Daughter
or
Ronam
Holiday.
However,
Nana
clarified
that
his
film
is
definitely
not
adapted
or
inspired
from
them.
“I
would
be
acting
in
the
film.
If
I
get
a
''buddha
khushad''
person
like
him
(for
the
50-year-old
character)
then
good...or
else
I
will
only
act.
About
the
actress
it's
not
decided..
lets
see
who
wants
to
work
with
me.
I
may
start
the
film
this
year
or
hopefully
next
year," Nana
added.
Nana
also
informed
that
his
film
will
also
have
an
item
song
like
'Seekhle' from
Munna
Bhai
MMBS,
which
will
be
a
sensible
song
and
will
add
up
to
become
an
integral
part
of
the
script.
Patekar,
60-year-old
actor,
turned
into
a
director
with
the
film
Prahaar:
The
Final
Attack,
starring
Madhuri
Dixit
in
1991.
Patekar
is
presently,
ready
with
his
next
release,
Tigmanshu
Dhulia's,
Shagird,
an
action-thriller
that
revolves
around
the
crime
branch
of
Delhi
Police.
Nana
will
be
seen
in
the
role
of
a
cop,
essaying
the
role
of
ACP
Hanumant
Singh,
which
is
reportedly
based
on
late
encounter
specialist
Rajbir
Singh.
Shagird
has
been
produced
by
Reliance
Big
Pictures
and
stars
Rimi
Sen,
Zakir
Hussain,
Mohit
Ahlawat
and
Anurag
Kashyap
as
a
gangster
in
a
cameo.
The
film
is
slated
to
release
on
May
13.
