son
Ankush
told
PTI
that
his
father
was
suffering
with
Myasthenia
gravis,
an
autoimmune
disease
caused
by
communication
failure
between
nerves
and
muscles,
for
which
he
was
admitted
to
a
hospital
early
this
year.
Ankush
told
the
news
agency
that
his
father
was
responding
well
to
the
treatment
but
passed
away
at
around
4.30
am.
"My
father
left
us.
He
was
suffering
from
Myasthenia
gravis.
He
had
mood
swings
for
two-three
days.
He
told
the
caretaker
he
wanted
to
go
to
the
washroom
and
after
coming
out
he
told
him
he
wanted
to
sit
down
and
he
never
got
up
then," he
was
quoted
as
saying
by
PTI.
Earlier,
this
year
in
February,
Arun
Bali
was
hospitalised
for
this
rare
neuromuscular
disease.
Speaking
about
the
diagnosis,
actress
Nupur
Alankar
had
told
ETImes,
"I
was
on
call
with
Arun
Bali
sir
when
I
sensed
something
is
majorly
wrong
with
his
speech
and
pointed
it
out
to
him.
After
that
I
tried
contacting
his
son
Ankush,
but
couldn't
get
through.
Then
I
called
up
Rajeev
Menon
who
is
Ankush's
colleague
and
got
his
other
number
and
I
advised
him
to
take
Arun
sir
to
the
hospital
immediately."

Bali
was
a

face
in

He

his
