Ferrari Ki Sawaari: The joy ride begins on 15 June

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a comic-drama movie, set to release on June 15, 2012. The film is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and child artist Ritvik Sahore are playing the lead roles in Ferrari Ki Sawaari. The film does not have any lead actress and it's Sharman Joshi's first solo hero project.

Synopsis:

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a heartwarming story of common men with big dreams and how one night changes their lives forever. It's a tale of small boy and his passion for cricket. His father Sharman Joshi wants to give the best to his son. His son has a dream of playing at Lord's cricket ground. To fulfill his son's dream the honest father performs a small act of dishonesty for the first time in his life. He borrows a red Ferrari for an hour but without informing it's legendary owner.

This Ferrari ride leads through a chaotic world of street-thugs and mass-weddings. Meanwhile, another saga unfolds - a grumpy old man and his secret wounds, and an epic rivalry that goes back 50 years.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is shot at the Lord's Cricket Ground in London. Vidya Balan has done a lavani item song for the first time "Mala jao dya na" in the movie. The red Ferrari used in the movie is originally owned by cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
