The actress believes she got home a ghost along with the Dorothy Dandridge dress she wore in the movie of the same name. She said, "I'd come home and the housekeeper would say she'd heard my vanity chair moving upstairs in my bathroom. And our fridge door would fly open by itself. I'm not kidding," It all stopped once she returned the dress.

Apparently after shoot in a cemetery for Complex magazine in 2014 she started seeing scary figures in her dream and in room. She said, "I started crying. I was on the phone like, ‘What do I do, what do I do?' and they said, ‘Tell it to eff off.' I thought, ‘I'm not going to do that. It feeds on fear. I watched it move to the front of my bed and then I fell asleep on the phone. I woke up and it was gone."
The 'Bride Wars' actress strongly believes in supernatural existence. She says she has faces female ghosts more than one time. Talking about how it felt when her dead grandmother visited her she said, "...I woke up and felt amazing that she was around me."
