Unbelievable! Jungle Book Has The Highest Collection This Year!

The live action movie of the boy in the jungle, The Jungle Book, did damn well on the opening weekend in the USA.

The Disney movie, that hit the theaters this April, made sure it meant business. The audiences in huge numbers were drawn to see the movie, thanks to all the movie promotions and reviews.

The movie, saw the weekend collection of a whopping $ 106.3 Million this weekend, the second highest collection for an April opener ever. The top spot is still held by Furious 7.

The Jungle Book was screened in more than 4000 theaters and the crowd just seems to be growing everyday!

Other movies that had their April opening this year, include another Disney movie, Barbershop: The Next Cut, starring Ice Cube and Regina Hall. This movie collected a little over $ 20 Million over the weekend.

The third place went for Melissa McCarthy's movie, The Boss with $ 10 Million in revenue collection and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice still running strong in the 4th place with a total weekend collection of $ 9.2 Million.
