Vaishno
Academy
launched
by
Puri
Jagannath
had
brought
out
several
successful
films.
However,
the
successful
director,
who
has
given
life
to
many
artistes
and
technicians,
has
failed
to
promote
his
brother
Sairam
Shankar
as
hero.
In
order
to
fulfill
his
wish,
Puri
penned
a
mass-oriented
subject
and
personally
penned
the
dialogues
to
give
it
adequate
punch.
One
his
proteges
Jaya
Ravindra
has
directed
the
film,
Bumper
Offer.
Sai
(Sairam
Shankar)
completes
his
education
and
wastes
his
time.
He
refuses
to
marry
as
her
mother
Ramanamma
(Kovai
Sarala)
wanted
to
put
some
responsibility
on
him.
Sai"s
father
Rao
is
a
clerk
with
a
real
estate
firm
run
by
Surya
Prakash
(Sayaji
Shinde).
Once,
Surya
Prakash"s
daughter
Aiswarya
(Bindu
Madhav)
breaks
the
leg
of
Sai
mistaking
him
to
be
someone
who
tried
to
tease
her.
This
makes
him
lose
his
heart
to
Aiswarya.
After
a
few
turn
of
events,
Aiswarya
too
falls
flat
for
Sai.
But
this
irks
Surya
Prakash
who
tried
to
thrash
both
Rao
and
Sai
black
and
blue.
Aiswarya
reaches
the
spot
and
warns
that
she
would
shoot
herself
if
any
harm
is
done
to
them.
Surya
Prakash
budges
to
the
situation
and
gives
an
offer
to
Sai
to
earn
at
least
five
per
cent
value
of
his
assets
and
marry
Aiswarya.
But
the
latter
refuses
the
offer
saying
that
he
is
giving
another
bumper
offer
to
Surya
Prakash
that
he
would
make
him
lose
his
entire
property
and
assets
and
pull
him
down
to
the
earth
and
make
him
equal
to
their
family
to
catch
the
hand
of
Aiswarya.
What
plans
did
Sai
make
to
make
Surya
Prakash
bankrupt?
What
happens
to
the
love
between
Sai
and
Aiswarya?
Who
is
Mallikarjun
and
what
kind
of
help
or
harm
did
he
do
to
Sai?
Did
Sai
emerge
victorious
in
teaching
a
lesson
to
Surya
Prakash?
Answers
to
all
these
questions
form
part
of
the
climax.
PERFORMANCE:
As
far
as
performance
is
considered,
Sairam
Shankar
has
filled
his
character
with
lot
of
energy
for
a
mass
appeal.
He
has
almost
succeeded
in
his
attempt.
It
appears
that
he
has
improved
his
ease
in
action
scenes
and
dances.
If
he
could
improve
his
dialogue
modulation,
he
would
definitely
get
more
chances
for
mass-oriented
subject.
As
the
film
has
a
mass
appeal,
the
characterisation
of
the
hero
appears
to
be
okay.
Heroine
Bindu
Madhavi
is
another
asset
for
the
film.
She
has
shed
her
family
girl
image
and
proved
that
she
too
could
appear
in
revealing
dresses
and
perform
in
romantic
scenes.
Especially,
she
is
very
glamorous
in
songs.
The
dialogues
penned
for
her
character
too
have
a
lot
of
mass
appeal.
Sayaji
Shinde,
Jayaprakash
Reddy
and
MS
Narayana
have
played
their
roles
in
a
routine
manner.
For
action
scenes,
the
director
has
chosen
another
villain
like
Supreet
for
a
mass
appeal.
Ali
and
Venumadhav
have
done
the
parody
of
Magadheera
with
utmost
ease
and
tickled
the
funny
bone
of
the
audiences
for
some
time.
TECHNICAL:
The
subject
of
the
film
is
routine,
but
Puri
Jagannath
with
all
his
experience
has
infused
mind
game
for
the
movement
of
the
film
and
presented
in
an
interesting
manner.
He
has
chosen
to
use
a
parody
of
the
recent
blockbuster
Magadheera,
with
due
permission
from
the
makers
of
that
film.
Moreover,
the
hero
of
the
film
is
from
a
lower-middle
class
family,
the
dialogues
penned
for
him
are
very
rough
and
appear
to
be
the
language
of
slum
dwellers.
Another
major
highlight
of
the
film
is
the
music
by
Raghu
Kunche.
Most
of
the
songs
have
become
very
famous
and
the
audio
album
has
remained
a
chartbuster
since
its
release
into
the
market.
However,
the
debutant
music
director
should
focus
a
little
more
attention
towards
the
re-recording
to
remain
in
the
industry.
Debutant
director
Jaya
Ravindra
too
is
a
little
intelligent
and
has
kept
perfect
timing
between
comedy,
songs
and
action
scenes
at
appropriate
intervals.
Camera
work
and
editing
is
also
okay.
The
cinematographer
did
a
good
job
as
there
were
many
chase
scenes
in
the
movie.
ANALYSIS:
Because
the
film
has
a
lot
of
mass
appeal,
the
film
may
not
go
well
with
city
audiences.
In
the
name
of
mind
games,
the
story
writer
and
director
have
filled
the
film
with
drama,
but
they
are
too
cinematic.
But
for
these
minor
lapses,
the
film
is
okay
with
lot
of
mass
appeal.
Moreover,
the
release
date
of
the
film
has
not
been
very
appropriate
as
there
has
been
another
big
release
on
the
same
day,
Ek
Niranjan
under
Puri
Jagannath"s
direction
itself.
Moreover,
the
opening
of
the
film
is
also
not
very
encouraging.
The
film
may
go
well
with
'B" and
'C"
centres
because
of
its
mass-oriented
subject.
