Love
and
politics
have
been
blended
in
many
Bollywood
films.
But
Tigmanshu
Dhulia's
latest
movie
Sahib
Biwi
Aur
Gangster,
which
merges
power
and
politics
with
love,
lust
and
betrayal,
is
completely
different
from
all
of
them.
Tigmanshu
really
seems
to
have
gone
beyond
the
expectations
of
the
movie
buffs
in
his
new
venture,
which
is
an
interesting
and
absorbing
film.
Sahib
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
is
an
action
thriller.
The
title
of
the
movie
might
remind
you
of
Guru
Dutt's
Sahib
Bibi
Aur
Ghulam,
but
this
movie
is
totally
different
and
it
has
its
own
attitude
and
identity.
The
wonderful
performances
by
lead
actors,
superb
script
and
power-packed
dialogue
are
the
major
highlights
of
the
film.
Tigmanshu
Dhulia
has
chosen
a
wonderful
story,
which
is
unheard
and
unexplored.
He
has
blended
it
with
superb
technical
elements.
Meanwhile,
he
has
got
a
strong
hold
on
the
narration,
which
is
unpredictable
and
interesting.
The
viewers
are
absorbed
completely
in
the
story,
but
the
plots
seems
to
be
losing
the
attention
of
the
audience
in
the
middle
of
the
second
of
the
film.
Another
interesting
thing
it
that
the
movie
has
been
promoted
like
romantic
film,
but
the
director
does
not
let
the
romance
track
overpower
its
original
conniving
essence.
The
Nawab
[Jimmy
Shergill]
and
his
Begum
[Mahie
Gill]
live
in
their
ancestral
royal
house
in
the
Northern
part
of
India.
He
is
trying
to
maintain
their
ancestors'
status,
he
faces
tough
competition
from
his
rival
politician
Gainda
Singh
[Vipin
Sharma],
who
wants
to
eliminate
him
and
his
allies.
In
this
race,
his
attention
towards
Begum
goes
on
decreasing.
In
a
bid
to
meet
the
ends,
he
starts
taking
contract
killing
assignments.
The
story
takes
a
new
twist
with
appointment
of
Babloo
[Randeep
Hooda]
as
the
temporary
driver
for
Begum,
who
gets
into
a
sexual
relationship
with
him.
What
happens
next
will
form
the
crux
of
the
movie.
The
characterization
of
Tigmanshu
Dhulia
is
excellent
and
he
has
tapped
out
right
kind
of
performance
from
everyone.
Jimmy
Shergill,
Randeep
Hooda
and
Mahie
Gill
have
delivered
brilliant
acting,
which
rock
the
movie
buffs.
Deepraj
Rana,
Deepal
Shaw,
Vipin
Sharma,
Rajeev
Gupta
and
Shreya
Narayan
have
also
managed
to
impress
the
viewers
with
their
wonderful
acting.
Mukhtar
Sahota,
Jaidev
Kumar
and
Ankit
Tiwari's
music
is
another
attraction
of
the
film
and
the
song
'Jugni'
is
the
pick
of
everyone.
Cinematography
is
also
perfect.
The
powerful
dialogues
are
the
main
force
of
the
film.
This
movie
has
many
novel
lines,
which
linger
in
the
memory
of
the
viewers
even
after
they
are
out
of
theatre.
The
soundtrack
is
okay,
with
'Jugni'
being
the
pick
of
the
lot.
In
a
nutshell,
Sahib
Biwi
Aur
Gangster
is
packed
with
lots
of
intrigues,
twists
and
turns
that
hold
the
audience
of
movie
buffs
and
keep
them
guessing.
It
is
an
excellent
effort
and
it
should
not
be
missed.
