    Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt Starer 1995 American neo-noir science fiction movie was inspired by a French short film La Jetée 1962.

    The 2009 psychological war thriller starring Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalie Portman is a remake of 2004 Danish movie Brødre.

    The original Japanese movie Ring 1998, has been an inspiration for this 2002 American supernatural psychological horror movie.
