Abbas To Make His Comeback With Savaari 2

South actor Abbas, who was last seen in Kannada film Appu Pappu in 2010 is all set to make his comeback with Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Savaari 2. The movie, which is sequel of director Jacob Verghese's directorial debut Savaari is presently in busy in the final shooting schedule.

Abbas, who denies that Savaari 2 to be his comeback movie, has said that he has not left the industry. "It's not a comeback film. I have never left the industry. I do films as and when I like a script," says Abbas, who started his career as a model in Bangalore.

"It's an interesting role. I have completed about 80% of shoot," says Abbas, who refused to reveal more information about his role. Sources said that the actor will be playing the role of a common man, who has got everything but in search of deeper meaning in life.

Savaari 2 features Diamond Star Srinagara Kitty, Shruti Hariharan, Karan Rao, Girish Karnad and others in the significant roles. Savaari, which was declared as the Blockbuster hit of the year of 2009, had featured Srinagara Kitty, Raghu Mukherjee, Kamalini Mukherjee and others in the key roles.

With Savaari 2, the combination of Diamond Star Kitty, director Jacob Varghese and music composer Manikanth Khadri will be back on Kannada screen after four years.
