A
while
back
there
were
rumours
of
actress
Tamannaah
being
a
part
of
Puneet
Rajkumar's
upcoming
movie
Dodmane
Huduga.
Originally,
Ramya
was
supposed
to
be
the
lead
actress.
However,
after
she
pulled
out
of
the
project,
the
replacement
is
yet
to
be
announced.
The
rumours
of
Tamannaah
being
a
part
of
Dodmane
Hedge
has
been
refuted
by
Puneet's
manager,
Rajkumar.
Talking
to
a
Kannada
daily,
Rajkumar
said
that
they
never
approached
the
actress
with
the
project.
He
said
that,
actress
from
Telugu
film
industry
are
very
reluctant
to
work
in
the
Kannada
movies.
For
them,
the
industry
is
many
grades
lower
than
Telugu.

In
the
last
few
years,
many
Telugu
actresses
have
refused
to
work
in
Kannada
movies.
Sometimes,
the
remuneration
asked
by
the
actress
is
very
high.
Rajkumar
added
that
many
Kannada
actresses,
who
have
established
themselves
in
other
industries
also
refuse
to
work
in
the
Kannada
movies.
Earlier,
Anuskha
Shetty
was
approached
several
times
by
various
Kannada
producers,
but
she
excused
herself
saying
she
has
no
dates,
Puneet
Rajkumar's
next
movie
Mythri
was
supposed
to
have
a
popular
actress
from
the
Telugu
film
industry,
claims
Rajkumar,
who
is
also
the
producer
for
the
movie.
But
things
did
not
go
as
per
the
plan
due
to
the
big
demands
made
by
the
actress.
Rajkumar
added
that
it
is
sad
that
the
actress
from
other
film
industry
consider
Kannada
film
industry
to
be
of
lower
grade.
It
is
surprising
that
with
so
many
talented
actresses
in
Kannada,
producers
are
still
hell
bent
on
getting
actress
from
other
film
industry.
