T-Series
Head
Honcho
Bhushan
Kumar
had
tough
time
convincing
Rakesh
Roshan,
the
Producer
of
Kites
to
include
remixes
in
album
of
the
movie.
Finally,
Rakesh
Roshan
agreed
to
include
remixes
in
his
upcoming
film.
Rakesh
Roshan
has
held
the
record
of
not
including
remixes
in
any
of
his
movies.
But
finally
that
record
has
been
broken
with
the
movie
Kites
staring
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Barbara
Mori
along
with
Kangana
Ranaut.
Three
songs
which
have
been
composed
by
Rajesh
Roshan
'Dil
Kyun
Yeh
Mera",
'Tum
Bhi
Ho
Wahi" and
'Zindagi
Do
Pal
Ki"
were
remixed.
According
to
Kumar,
T-series
top
man,
“Somehow
I
convinced
Rakesh
Roshan
and
Hrithik
for
the
remixes.
It
was
definitely
hard
to
convince
them,
but
I
gave
them
reasons
to
justify
what
I
was
saying.
Hrithik
understood
my
concerns
because
he
himself
visits
clubs
and
pubs
and
he
knows
what
kind
of
music
is
played.
I
managed
to
change
their
opinion,"
Kumar
even
mentioned
the
reason
why
producers
and
composers
don"t
want
remixes
in
their
movies.
Normally,
producers
and
composers
really
work
hard
towards
their
song
and
after
all
these
efforts
they
don"t
want
extra
beats
to
be
added
to
these
songs.
But
even
if
composers
and
producers
don"t
remix
their
song,
still
some
DJ"s
go
ahead
and
remix
it
so
that
they
can
play
that
in
clubs
or
even
put
them
on
web.
But
most
of
the
time
quality
of
these
songs
is
not
up
to
date.
That"s
why
it"s
better
that
companies
take
initiatives
to
remix
songs
so
that
people
can
receive
better
quality.
According
to
Kumar,
remixes
from
Kites
have
helped
him
to
earn
more
revenue.
Kumar
even
mentioned
that
he
likes
experimenting
with
music
of
big
banner
releases.
As
'Kites"
is
a
big
film
so
we
thought
of
doing
something
different
with
it
and
went
ahead
with
releasing
the
music
on
the
radio.
We
have
decided
to
do
something
different
for
Ra
One
which
is
also
expected
to
be
one
of
the
biggest
movies
of
the
year.
