Sandhya
because
of
her
debut
movie,
entered
into
wedlock
on
Sunday
(December
6th).
The
marriage
took
place
in
Kerala
at
the
famous
Guruvayur
temple,
according
to
a
report.
Her
wedding,
with
an
IT
professional
named
Venkat
Chandrasekharan,
was
initially
planned
to
take
place
in
Chennai
but
later
shifted
to
Kerala
because
of
the
unfortunate
flood,
the
city
is
battling
at
the
moment.
It
is
said
that
Sandhya's
family
were
forced
to
stay
at
their
apartment
with
no
possible
means
to
get
in
touch
with
the
groom's
family.
After
a
painful
hiatus,
their
phones
were
finally
resurrected
on
Saturday
morning,
after
which
they
decided
to
shift
the
venue
of
the
actress'
marriage.
Sandhya,
who
was
last
seen
in
Kaththukkutti
(special
appearance)
in
Tamil,
had
to
be
content
with
a
marriage
ceremony
sans
grandiose
as
they
were
able
to
reach
Kerala
only
by
Saturday
evening.
On
Sunday
morning,
the
couple
tied
the
knot,
after
last
minute
arrangements
had
been
taken
care
of
at
the
temple,
dedicated
to
Lord
Krishna.
A
grand
reception
is
expected
to
take
place
in
Chennai,
after
normalcy
is
restored
in
the
city.
Sandhya
bagged
a
truckload
of
awards
for
her
role
in
Kaadhal,
after
which
she
became
a
popular
actress
in
Kollywood.
She
has
appeared
in
Telugu,
Malayalam
and
Kannada
movies
as
well.
The
actress
is
expected
to
continue
her
professional
life
post
marriage,
as
she
has
already
taken
up
a
host
of
films
in
Tamil
and
Malayalam,
which
are
presently
being
filmed.
